Nespresso and Auren in collaboration for the environment

Nespresso and Auren in collaboration for the environment

Nespresso, together with Auren's distribution division, are jointly protecting the environment and will operate electric vehicles for deliveries for business customers in Israel.

News summary

Nespresso Israel is launching a collaboration with Auren's distribution and transportation division, in the framework of which an electric commercial vehicle will be operated for deliveries for the company's business customers.

By using Mercedes' electric eVito vehicle, the company is moving another facet of its operations to green. The state-of-the-art vehicle is equipped with electric propulsion technology and provides an alternative to fuel-powered distribution vehicles. Alongside zero emissions and a high driving range of between 340 and 350 km, this is a green competitive option in the world of transportation.

The choice of electric commercial vehicle to serve Nespresso customers stems from the company's vision. Nespresso has set itself global goals according to which the company will reach zero emissions along the value chain by 2050 at the latest and 2035 at the earliest.

Together with Nespresso, Auren, the first company in its field in Israel to bring the word of trams to its fleet, also presents a green vision for a better future. The purchase of electric vehicles is part of Auren's enterprise sustainability plan, which defines measurable sustainability goals that it implements and updates annually. The cooperation between the companies enables the two to remain the leading pioneers in their field in terms of sustainability.
