"After years of extensive and even amazing activity in the field of urban sustainability and urban ecology, Dizengoff Center receives the official stamp from the municipality, which is establishing a new urban center for sustainability as well as a school for sustainability. If everything works as it should, then we will probably continue to exist."
"After many years in which Dizengoff Center led everything related to urban sustainability and urban ecology in Tel Aviv, in a variety of excellent projects such as the wonderful Bat Cave, the Center for Biodynamic Urban Beekeeping (!), the largest composter in the Middle East, a hydroponic agricultural farm on the roof of the building and more, now comes the official stamp: The Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality is launching its urban sustainability center at the Center and it will serve as another anchor in the municipality's preparedness for the climate crisis. The center, which will be operated by the Environment and Sustainability Authority of the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, will help teach, train, and provide tools to residents on reducing consumption, nurturing urban nature, caring for biodiversity and more."
