After Rina Epstein attended an ecosystem planning course in South Africa, she decided to work the land and work in the field across the continent, until returning to Israel. "There's a stigma attached to the field, and I'm here to prove that a woman can be both a good businesswoman and a good farmer."
Rina Epstein was 24 years old, on behalf of the agency in South Africa, when she was sent to a permaculture course – ecosystem design methods – that changed the course of her life. She began working the land, and at the end of the course traveled from South Africa to Israel for a year and a half, passing through ten countries where she worked in permaculture.
"Today I worked from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 30 degrees. It's instead of going to the gym" – Published by TheMarker.
